Workforce Development Lead-1

• Safeguard and manage trainees throughout their training programmes, including apprentices, graduates, and scholars.
• Coach, mentor, and manage approximately 50 trainees across various disciplines.
• Drive Health & Safety compliance and monitor trainee performance to ensure timely completion of programme requirements.
• Develop new training programmes in conjunction with Programme Leader and HR teams to meet business needs for Net Zero.

This role directly supports the development of a skilled workforce essential for the transition to Net Zero, ensuring that trainees are equipped to build and maintain the renewable energy networks of the future.

• People management experience, preferably managing large teams.
• Knowledge of working methods relevant to SP Energy Networks or similar energy sector.
• Working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and company safety rules.
• Experience in developing, coaching, and mentoring others.

Salary from £55,000 per annum plus excellent benefits including 36 days annual leave, pension scheme with up to 10% company contribution, share incentive plan, electric vehicle schemes, cycle to work scheme, and various discounts.
