Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead the development of a portfolio of renewable energy projects in Wales, including greenfield, co-development, acquisition, and repowering opportunities, from identification through to planning consent and Ready to Build status.
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, risks, and critical path activities, ensuring delivery in line with governance and milestones.
  • Act as the lead development representative for Wales on strategic initiatives, contributing to regional strategy, policy engagement, and portfolio planning.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Typically 7–10 years' experience in renewable energy development, infrastructure development, environmental planning, or a related sector.
  • Proven experience managing complex development projects through feasibility, planning, consenting, and development milestones.
  • Strong understanding of the Welsh planning and consenting environment, including engagement with PEDW, NRW, local authorities, and statutory consultees.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills; full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Wales and the UK.
