Job description
Lead rigorous measurement of farmed fish welfare through field assessments and data analysis to inform intervention strategies.
- Develop and refine the Welfare Assessment Protocol into a comprehensive measurement framework applicable across farming systems and interventions.
- Conduct field studies comparing welfare outcomes on farms with and without FWI programs, managing data collection and statistical analysis.
- Manage and train local assessment staff, ensuring high-quality data collection while spending significant time on farms yourself.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership on program scaling, modification, and geographic expansion priorities.
- Requires rigorous analytical thinking, exceptional attention to detail, strong data and statistical skills, and enthusiasm for fieldwork in rural Andhra Pradesh.
