Mission

What you will drive

  • Register voters, collect petitions, and recruit new KFTC members through community tabling, door-to-door, and phone outreach.
  • Attend weekly virtual trainings and local coordination meetings to build skills and align with campaign goals.
  • Mobilize voters by calling, distributing voter guides, and encouraging turnout for endorsed candidates.

  • Committed to racial justice, equity, and democracy; able to connect with diverse communities including Black, Brown, low-income, LGBTQ+, and disabled Kentuckians.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, organized, and able to work independently and in teams.
  • Comfortable with public outreach, deep listening, and de-escalation in potentially contentious situations.
  • Must have access to a car or reliable transportation for local travel; fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Benefits

What's in it for you

Part-time, 20 hours/week, $26/hour, plus $50/month cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement at $0.46/mile. Flexible schedule with some scheduled events. Paid orientation and weekly training.
