Mission

What you will drive

  • Identify and vet scientific experts for SciLine's Expert Matching Service, including recruiting Spanish-speaking scientists.
  • Reach out to scientific experts to recruit them for interviews with journalists from local and national media outlets.
  • Expand SciLine's database of experts, focusing on bilingual and diverse backgrounds.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess the efficacy of SciLine's services.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in a scientific discipline (social sciences a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong research skills and ability to extract meaning from scientific papers.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with scientists and organizations.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (Tableau, Power BI, R, Salesforce) a plus.
