Vice President, US Business Development

• Lead Teledyne FLIR Defense's US Business Development organization, capturing major programs and franchise opportunities across DoD and US Federal Government agencies.
• Establish and execute the company's US growth strategy, overseeing the full business development lifecycle across air, ground, maritime, ISR, and emerging technologies.
• Drive alignment between strategy, product roadmaps, and customer requirements to position the company for large-scale competitive pursuits.

This role directly supports critical defense and public safety missions by securing programs that deliver advanced surveillance, unmanned systems, and sensing technologies to warfighters, first responders, and search-and-rescue teams, ultimately saving lives and enhancing national security.

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of progressively responsible BD, Capture, or Program leadership experience, including leadership of large, complex capture efforts (>$100M).
• Deep understanding of US Government acquisition processes, funding mechanisms, and source selection methodologies (FAR/DFARS).
• Established network and credibility with senior government and industry stakeholders; ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
• Proven ability to develop and execute winning strategies, including customer shaping, Price-to-Win, and competitive positioning.
