Associate Director of Technology

• Design and implement technology, workflow, automation, and data management solutions for CIMA's internal operations and client engagements.
• Lead client-facing technology consulting projects, including system design, data migrations, workflow automation, AI integration, and analytics solutions.
• Act as an intrapreneur to improve internal systems, optimize databases and Notion workspaces, and integrate tools to enhance efficiency.
• Provide technical mentorship and training to staff, and supervise junior tech staff and contractors.

This role amplifies the impact of mission-driven organizations by designing technology solutions that streamline operations, integrate AI thoughtfully, and enable teams to work more effectively, ultimately helping nonprofits and social enterprises achieve their goals more efficiently.

• Advanced experience with Airtable and Notion, including building scalable databases and structured workspace systems.
• Fluency in integration platforms such as Make, Zapier, and n8n, with ability to extend systems via APIs.
• At least 5 years of experience supervising tech development staff, including external consultants.
• Experience in agile project management and lean startup methodology; prior consulting experience preferred.

Salary range: $55-$65/hr (part-time, 20 hours/week). Benefits include flexible PTO, profit share, and WFH/PD stipend. Hybrid work available, with preference for candidates in central VA.
