Lead catalytic investment strategy and portfolio management for sustainable protein companies across plant-based, fermentation, and cultivated meat technologies.
- Develop investment theses, source opportunities, and identify financing gaps where patient capital can unlock progress conventional investors overlook.
- Conduct comprehensive diligence on management, technology, markets, unit economics, and risks; develop financial models and investment recommendations.
- Structure and execute mission-aligned investments using equity, debt, guarantees, recoverable grants, and blended finance; manage portfolio relationships and performance.
- Collaborate across FSI's scientific, market, and philanthropic teams to inform strategy and advise on investment versus grant-based approaches.
- Requires 7+ years principal investing experience and deep knowledge of sustainable protein sector, venture capital, or growth-stage financing.
