UX Researcher Volunteer (Senior)

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics.
• Conduct and analyze quantitative and qualitative research (testing, interviews, personas, prototyping, surveys).
• Synthesize and present research findings through written and oral communications.
• Make recommendations on specific new Earth Hero features to implement, with a close eye on detail and what can practically be implemented.

This role helps Earth Hero increase user engagement and real-world climate action by designing community features that foster local connection and collective impact, directly addressing the climate emergency.

• Three or more years of UX research experience.
• Experience doing UX research and/or design for community-focused features is a bonus.
• Ability to mostly independently perform research-related tasks, including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration.
• Experience with remote testing tools (survey platforms, Google Suite, Optimal Workshop, UXTweak, Google Analytics, etc.).
