What you will drive

  • Conduct legal research in environmental law and related fields.
  • Identify and develop novel legal advocacy approaches using state and local laws.
  • Support litigation in state courts and advocate before state and local governments.
  • Develop and execute toxics-focused advocacy campaigns in collaboration with Earthjustice teams.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in relevant working location.
  • 7+ years of litigation experience or combination of litigation and legal policy work.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong preference for experience using legal frameworks to advance social and/or environmental justice.
