Tupande Controls, Health & Safety Specialist (Fixed-Term)

• Lead internal controls design and manage health and safety for Tupande factories in Kenya.
• Build and run food safety systems (HACCP, FSSC 22000, GlobalG.A.P.) and track KPIs.
• Conduct workplace safety audits, enforce OSHA standards, and manage high-risk areas.
• Set up quality checks in sourcing and supply chain, and implement financial controls to protect assets.

This role ensures the safety and integrity of food products and workplace environments, directly supporting smallholder farmers by maintaining high standards that protect their livelihoods and the organization's mission to increase farm productivity.

• 3-5 years of experience in conducting internal audits of food processing operations (GMP, HACCP, FSMA, SQF/BRC).
• 1-3 years of experience in OSHA-focused factory safety.
• Work planning and organization, ability to communicate complex topics simply, and report writing skills.
