Translation, Technical Writing and Editorial Review French Adaptation of the Terminology Guidelines

• Translate newly added and revised sections of the second English edition of the Terminology Guidelines into French, ensuring consistency with the existing first edition.
• Document discussions and consolidate conclusions from the French Interagency Working Group meetings.
• Review and refine the French adaptation to ensure accuracy, readability, and alignment with agreed terminology.

This consultancy ensures that the updated Terminology Guidelines are accurately adapted into French, promoting consistent and child-sensitive language across French-speaking contexts, thereby strengthening the protection of children from sexual exploitation and abuse.

• Demonstrated experience in translation, editing, proofreading, or adaptation of policy or technical documents.
• Excellent French language skills (written and spoken) and strong analytical writing skills.
• Familiarity with child protection issues, particularly sexual exploitation and abuse of children, is highly desirable.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
