How to Apply for Technical Product Manager
at The Agency Fund
🏢 About The Agency Fund
The Agency Fund is a unique multi-donor initiative that invests in programs strengthening human agency—the ability of individuals to act on their own behalf—to improve development outcomes globally. Working here means being part of a collaborative, mission-driven team that bridges technology and social impact, with the flexibility of remote work and the opportunity to directly influence how NGOs use data and AI to scale their efforts.
About This Role
As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you'll embed with 3–4 NGO partners, acting as a bridge between their on-the-ground needs and technical solutions. You'll build data pipelines, dashboards, and AI features, design experiments, and manage agile sprints to ship products end-to-end. This role is impactful because you're not just building tools—you're enabling partners to make data-driven decisions that improve lives, while also coaching local talent to sustain these capabilities.
💡 A Day in the Life
A typical day might start with a stand-up with your engineering team to unblock progress on a data pipeline, followed by a video call with an NGO partner in East Africa to refine their dashboard requirements. Afternoon could involve writing a PRD for an AI integration, reviewing A/B test results, and then coaching a Lighthouse Fellow on experiment design. You'll juggle multiple projects, but each day is centered on translating partner needs into technical solutions that drive impact.
