Tech for Good Project Fellow

• Manage projects, draft and edit documents, conduct research, analyze data, and produce reports to support Tech Matters' initiatives.
• Work on expanding the Better Deal for Data standard for nonprofits, prototyping methods to improve LLM/search answers on critical social problems, and developing an open course on technology for social good.

This role directly supports the creation of open-source software platforms and field-building activities that help the social sector adopt technology for systems-wide change, ultimately benefiting the 90% of humanity typically neglected by commercial tech.

• Five or more years’ experience in tech-enabled organizations.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, data science, MLIS, MBA, social sciences).
• Demonstrated interest and experience in technology for social good, with knowledge of latest trends and best practices.
• Familiarity with how software-as-a-service platforms work; ability to write clearly and kindly; alignment with Tech Matters values.

Remote position; fixed-term fellowship (6-12 months); health and related insurance coverage for US-based candidates; opportunity to transition into the nonprofit sector from tech/business.
