What you will drive
Objective
To produce a practical, evidence-based market analysis that identifies concrete funding opportunities from climate finance mechanisms and blended and impact financing, and provides a prioritised view of where World Vision should focus its efforts and investments.
Required competencies
- Valid business registration status as an individual business or consultancy firm.
- Proven experience in market analysis or funding landscape assessments covering climate finance, blended finance, or impact investing.
- Strong technical knowledge of the Green Climate Fund, Adaptation Fund, voluntary carbon markets, and the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage, including NGO access and eligibility requirements.
- Familiarity with blended finance, impact investing, development finance institution engagement, results-based finance structures, and relevant intermediaries.
- Understanding of the international NGO sector and barriers and opportunities related to non-traditional funding.
- Ability to convert complex financial market analysis into practical, decision-ready recommendations.
- Capacity to complete the required deliverables within a four-week timeframe.
- Experience with faith-based or child-focused development organisations is an advantage.
