Role details

A 10-week paid summer research fellowship for law students and professionals to conduct AI law and policy research with mentorship and networking.
- Develop and execute a tailored research project on law-following AI, automated governance, or related topics under mentor guidance.
- Participate in a Convening Week in Washington, DC, attend expert Q&A sessions, and build policy and research networks.
- Requires strong legal background or exceptional expertise in computer science, policy, economics, or related fields.
- Requires deep understanding of US, EU, or UK law and policy; prior AI-specific experience not required.
- Full-time commitment June 14โ€“August 20, 2027, remote-first with optional in-person participation in Cambridge or Washington, DC.
