Strategic Finance Lead

• Own forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, building and maintaining financial models for annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year strategic plans.
• Run planning cycles end to end, partnering with department heads to create realistic and ambitious plans.
• Turn results into insight by analyzing actuals against budget and forecast, explaining variances, and recommending next steps.
• Define and track key metrics, develop KPIs, and build dashboards to provide leadership with clear performance insights.

By optimizing financial planning and analysis, this role directly supports Afresh's mission to reduce food waste through AI-driven grocery solutions, contributing to climate change mitigation and more sustainable food systems.

• 5+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience, ideally at a high-growth startup or technology company.
• Exceptional financial modeling skills with proficiency in relevant tools.
• Demonstrated use of AI in forecasting, analysis, automation, or reporting.
• Strong grasp of GAAP and the three financial statements.

Salary band in U.S.: $160,000-$220,000 + meaningful early-stage equity + benefits.
