How to Apply for Staff Product Manager
at Phaidra
🏢 About Phaidra
Phaidra is pioneering AI-driven control systems for industrial efficiency, focusing on reducing energy waste and environmental impact in data centers. Its flagship product, Prism, serves as an agentic operating platform, making it a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, sustainability, and critical infrastructure.
About This Role
As Staff Product Manager, you'll partner with the CPO to define the product strategy and roadmap for Prism, translating customer pain into clear requirements and driving key integrations. Your work directly impacts adoption, autonomy, and expansion revenue, while you also mentor other PMs to elevate the product practice.
💡 A Day in the Life
A typical day might start with async check-ins on Slack with engineers and the CPO, followed by reviewing customer feedback from data center operators. You'll spend time refining product requirements for a new integration, hopping on a video call with a key customer to understand pain points, and later mentoring a junior PM on roadmap prioritization.
🚀 Application Tools
🎯 Who Phaidra Is Looking For
- 8+ years of technical product management experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives, preferably in AI or industrial software.
- Proven ability to translate customer needs into strategic product direction and sequence ambitious vision into fundable steps.
- Strong technical acumen in system architecture, integrations/APIs, and data platforms, with a track record of delivering complex integrations.
- Experience mentoring other product managers and excellent communication skills in an all-remote setting, with a bias for async collaboration.
📝 Tips for Applying to Phaidra
Tailor your resume to highlight experience with AI/ML products, data platforms, and industrial automation, not just generic PM work.
In your cover letter, explicitly mention your experience with integrations and APIs, and how you've driven adoption metrics.
Showcase a specific example of translating customer pain into a product roadmap that led to measurable business outcomes.
Demonstrate your remote collaboration skills by referencing tools and practices (e.g., async communication, documentation).
Research Phaidra's blog and thought leadership on AI for industrial efficiency, and mention how your vision aligns with theirs.
