Staff Engineer, Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain Smart Grid applications using .NET Core, C#, Kubernetes, Helm, PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms.
• Lead component and solution design, development, documentation, and validation.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best coding practices and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements analysis, system design, and delivery of end-to-end Smart Grid solutions.

This role directly contributes to building smarter energy grids that enable decarbonization, grid modernization, and real-time energy insights, helping utilities and consumers optimize energy usage for a sustainable future.

• Expert status with .NET Core, Helm, and C#.
• Strong experience with SOAP Web Services, REST API, TCP/IP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka messaging.
• Experience with database scripting (Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server).
• B.S. in Computer Science or related degree with 7-15 years of software development experience.
