Staff Analytics Engineer

• Design, build, and evolve scalable dbt data models that accurately represent company KPIs and business metrics.
• Develop and maintain intuitive Looker dashboards enabling stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Product, and Go-to-Market teams to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure reliable, high-quality data pipelines and establish dbt and Looker best practices.

This role accelerates the transition to clean energy by enabling data-driven decisions across Aurora Solar, helping solar professionals design and install solar arrays more efficiently, thereby increasing solar adoption and reducing carbon emissions.

• 4+ years of experience in analytics, analytics engineering, or similar data-focused role using SQL to develop data models and generate business insights.
• 2+ years of experience working with dbt and Looker in a production environment.
• Advanced SQL and analytical problem-solving skills, with ability to independently solve complex data challenges.
• Experience owning the end-to-end analytics lifecycle, including data modeling, validation, quality assurance, and delivery of trusted reporting.
