Solar Development Project Manager

• Manage all aspects of solar project development from early stages through completion, including desktop site evaluations, engineering coordination, and interconnection applications.
• Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and schedules; draft pro formas and RFP responses.
• Interface directly with municipal officials, manage client relationships, and present project status reports.
• Design and maintain a project tracking system for timelines, tasks, and budgets.

This role accelerates the adoption of renewable energy by developing municipal solar projects, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting publicly-owned clean power.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 2 years of development, construction, energy sector, or equivalent experience; project management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of solar energy systems and project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with permitting, public procurement, interconnection, and utility coordination processes.
