Software Engineer - XIL Platform

• Design and architect unified testing frameworks for Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), and simulation environments.
• Build, configure, and maintain physical HIL benches and hardware interfaces to simulate real-world vehicle environments.
• Integrate automated HIL testing into CI pipelines to ensure code stability and prevent regressions.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve HIL infrastructure and CI systems.

This role directly contributes to the safety and reliability of autonomous transit systems, enabling accessible, affordable, and sustainable public transportation that connects communities to opportunity and reduces environmental impact.

• Deep understanding of HIL, SIL, and simulation testing strategies for safety-critical systems.
• Proficiency in scripting and test automation languages (Python, C++, Bash).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD best practices; experience with Buildkite is a plus.
• Hands-on ability to troubleshoot physical test benches, including reading electrical schematics and using lab tools.
