Software Application Developer, Data Systems

• Work directly with Engineering, Operations, Battery Teams, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to identify bottlenecks and build bespoke software solutions that accelerate our 'bits-to-atoms' cycle.
• Design and implement sophisticated, responsive user interfaces using React and modern state management libraries, focusing on high-density data visualizations for complex battery performance data.
• Design and evolve Snowflake schemas and data models optimized for high-performance application interfaces, ensuring the data layer supports both rapid transactional workflows and deep analytical exploration.
• Deploy Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns to build 'smart' tools that allow engineering teams to query technical specs, experimental results, and financial data using natural language.

This role directly accelerates the development and manufacturing of next-generation battery materials that increase energy density, reduce size and weight, enabling mass adoption of electric cars and reducing dependence on fossil fuels.

• Expert proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS-in-JS or Tailwind; experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., Plotly, Bokeh) highly preferred.
• Expert proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Flask) and advanced experience with Snowflake and dbt.
• 6+ years (MS) or 8+ years (BS) of professional software development experience, preferably in hardware product technology and/or manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and building RAG architectures with LLMs.
