Job description

Lead tobacco control policy advancement and grant management across Eastern and Central Africa, serving as regional focal point for government engagement and technical support.
- Act as tobacco control focal point for Mozambique, Angola, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Guinea-Bissau; represent organization at high-level meetings.
- Engage ministries and civil society organizations to secure political support for policy implementation and monitor emerging developments.
- Provide technical assistance to governments and grantees; conduct political and policy environment analyses to identify intervention opportunities.
- Manage grant development and implementation with government and NGO partners; track progress and conduct site monitoring visits.
- Minimum ten years progressive health sector experience; master's degree; fluency in English and Portuguese required.
