Senior System Engineer

• Collaborate with the project team to prepare and coordinate technical materials for utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects.
• Establish and maintain engineering design criteria, applicable standards, and specifications for ESS projects.
• Specify system components, calculate ratings and quantities, and create detailed bills of material.
• Provide Tier 2 technical support and perform site visits for field inspection.

This role directly contributes to the decarbonization of the energy sector by enabling the integration of renewable energy sources through advanced battery storage systems, supporting a sustainable and low-carbon future.

• Minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience with renewable energy and distribution/transmission level Energy Storage Systems.
• Proficiency in electrical modelling software (e.g., ETAP, PowerFactory) and ability to conduct load flow, short circuit, and arc flash calculations.
• Familiarity with lithium-ion batteries, relevant codes (AS, IEC, NEC, etc.), and experience with utility-scale energy storage and renewable energy projects.
