Senior Strategist (Asia)

• Develop and implement strategies to shift finance out of LNG and fossil fuel expansion in Asia.
• Identify key leverage points across public and private finance and hold financial institutions accountable.
• Build trusting relationships with climate movement allies and support network collaboration.
• Represent Sunrise at public fora and industry events, and manage grants to partner organizations.

This role directly contributes to scaling the climate justice movement in Asia, shifting capital away from LNG and fossil fuel expansion, and accelerating the transition to renewable energy.

• Strong understanding of financial markets, institutions, and finance policy.
• Demonstrated experience in climate, renewable energy, ESG, or sustainability.
• Experience collaborating with CSOs in Asia.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; Asian language ideal.
