Role details
Engineer supporting fundraising operations through donor platforms, payment systems, and public-facing tools.
- Build and maintain fundraising infrastructure: donor portals, payment processing, donation tracking, and impact reporting systems.
- Work autonomously on full-stack tasks: define requirements, develop, test, deploy, and debug across legacy and modern systems.
- Support fundraisers and non-technical stakeholders on messy, rapidly evolving projects; own incidents during peak donation periods.
- Requires 4+ years engineering experience and genuine comfort with PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, Salesforce, and legacy technologies.
- Requires ability to overlap 3+ hours daily with East Africa Time and US Eastern Time; travel to meet colleagues a few weeks yearly.
