Senior Researcher, Water

• Lead research agendas on water interventions and answer complex questions informing GiveWell's grantmaking.
• Conduct evidence review, cost-effectiveness modeling, and expert consultation to evaluate water quality and access interventions.
• Own grant investigations end-to-end from research design through funding recommendations.
• Mentor researchers on your team and communicate findings to donors and external partners.
• Propose new research areas exploring partnerships, market shaping, and alternative funding mechanisms.

This role directly influences GiveWell's funding decisions for water interventions, ensuring resources are directed to the most effective programs that improve health and save lives in low-income settings.

• Strong research and analytical skills, including evidence review and cost-effectiveness modeling.
