Senior Project Commissioning Engineer - Battery Storage

• Oversee and lead technical deliverables for design, construction, and commissioning of utility-scale standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.
• Support EPC Leadership Team on supplier and contractor management across multiple equipment vendors and construction firms.
• Partner with Transmission, Interconnection, and Market Analysis teams to define, review, negotiate, and execute interconnection agreements.
• Assist with preparation and issuance of RFQ/RFP packages to EPC contractors and engineering consultants.

This role directly contributes to decarbonizing U.S. energy markets by enabling the deployment of standalone energy storage, which replaces fossil fuel peaker plants and supports grid reliability with clean energy.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus in Power Engineering.
• 5-7+ years of experience in project engineering, development, procurement/contracting, and construction management within power generation, utility, and transmission industries.
• Experience with design, construction, commissioning, and operation of high-voltage utility substations, switchyards, and transmission systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or equivalent, including Revu Bluebeam, and Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint, Excel).
