Senior Preconstruction Project Engineer - Battery Storage

• Assess energy storage technologies and site layout options to maximize project value while minimizing risks.
• Analyze and present project technical risks and determine de-risking solutions.
• Develop project capital and operational cost estimates and milestone schedules for financial valuation models.
• Provide technical and project management support throughout the development cycle, including site visits and stakeholder meetings.

This role accelerates the transition to clean energy by enabling the development and construction of battery storage projects that replace fossil fuel peaker plants and enhance grid reliability.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline required.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in technical roles, with experience in Power, Energy, Renewables, or BESS.
• Knowledge of energy storage development value proposition and technical fundamentals.
• Experience with AutoCAD and reviewing engineering drawings.
