Senior Power Systems Engineer - Interconnection and Planning

• Perform complex interconnection studies including loadflow, short circuit and transient stability across multiple ISOs and Utilities.
• Develop IBR and large load models for interconnection applications and validate performance against ISO/Utility requirements.
• Review ISO/Utility interconnection study results, replicate findings, and identify errors or alternative mitigations.
• Support generation, large load, and merchant transmission developers navigate interconnection processes.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the electric energy industry.
• Experience in IBR modelling, transmission planning and/or interconnection studies and processes.
• Strong understanding of FERC, NERC and ISO interconnection requirements and standards.
• In-depth knowledge of PSSE, TARA, PSLF, PowerWorld, ASPEN, and/or PSCAD.
