Mission
What you will drive
- Lead generation interconnection efforts within the ERCOT footprint, serving as the technical expert for energy resource interconnection processes.
- Perform EMT studies, model benchmarking, and advanced power system modeling to assess system performance and interconnection requirements.
- Create and validate PSS/E, PSCAD, and TSAT plant models for Solar PV, BESS, Wind, and conventional projects.
- Support business development, mentor junior engineers, and represent EPE at technical meetings.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 5+ years professional experience as a Power Systems Engineer supporting generation and transmission interconnection.
- Well-versed in ERCOT interconnection process; other ISOs a plus.
- PSCAD and PSS/E modeling experience; hands-on ERCOT Model Quality Testing (MQT) experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer focus skills; experience leveraging AI and automation tools responsibly.
