Senior Platform Engineer

• Design and maintain reusable, secure, and DRY infrastructure modules using Terraform.
• Engineer and evolve CI/CD pipeline frameworks in GitHub Actions that integrate automated testing, security scanning, and deployment workflows.
• Define and implement standards and tooling that reduce friction for developers adopting infrastructure and pipelines.
• Architect resilient, highly available, and cost-effective infrastructure patterns, enabling observability and developer self-service.

This role directly shapes the infrastructure and delivery frameworks used across GFL's engineering organization, enabling developers to release secure, observable, and reliable applications efficiently, thereby supporting GFL's mission of providing sustainable environmental solutions.

• 5+ years of experience in platform, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure engineering roles.
• Deep experience designing modular, reusable Terraform code with strong IaC patterns.
• Strong AWS knowledge across key services (IAM, VPC, ECS, EKS, EC2, KMS, etc.).
• Proven ability to build and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
