Mission

What you will drive

  • Develop and execute the safety strategy for autonomous vehicle development, deployment, and maintenance, referencing ISO 8800, ISO 21448, and UL 4600.
  • Lead a team of safety engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring safety artifacts are delivered on schedule.
  • Collaborate with software, data science, and systems engineering teams to safely integrate machine learning models and establish safety launch targets.
  • Own the safety plan, manage stakeholder communication, and ensure functional safety confirmation measures are completed.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent; Master's preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in engineering or autonomous vehicle development.
  • Demonstrated safety case management from conception to release, preferably in AV.
  • Experience with safety standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL 4600) and strong communication skills.
