(Senior) IoT Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

• Own the cloud side of the IoT Platform, managing device-to-cloud messaging and fleet services.
• Operate and evolve a Kubernetes-based IoT Cloud Platform, including deployment, scaling, and hardening.
• Build observability pipelines and data models to turn raw data into fleet insights.
• Collaborate with product teams to enable a scalable virtual power plant.

This role directly accelerates the energy transition by building the IoT platform that connects and optimizes renewable energy devices, enabling 1.5 million households to transition to renewable energy by 2030.

• 5+ years of experience building and operating cloud/distributed backend systems in production.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (ideally GKE) and cloud-native operations.
• Solid understanding of MQTT and device-to-cloud messaging patterns at scale.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, and platform engineering practices.
