Conduct independent investigations into AI companies and write rigorous stories exposing governance, safety, and influence issues.
- Research and write in-depth investigative articles for Model Republic covering AI industry practices, lobbying, and policy influence.
- Synthesize evidence from corporate disclosures, legal filings, regulatory documents, and social media to verify company claims.
- Provide editing and fact-checking support to team investigations and freelance contributors.
- Requires investigative journalism, policy research, or corporate accountability experience with a portfolio of published work.
- Requires strong research, analytical, and writing skills; familiarity with AI companies and policy debates preferred.
