Senior Innovation Manager

Lead a technical reformulation project to develop lead-free alternatives to traditional surma cosmetics across South Asia and North Africa.
- Manage cosmetic chemists, laboratories, and engineers to develop and validate lead-free surma formulations meeting technical, cultural, and religious requirements.
- Commission and interpret analytical testing, safety assessments, and consumer acceptability studies across multiple priority countries.
- Establish manufacturing feasibility, scale-up pathways, and cost models; design transferable guidance for manufacturers and other LEEP programs.
- Requires demonstrated experience managing technical specialists outside your own expertise and fast learning in unfamiliar technical domains.
- Requires experience working in low- and middle-income countries; willingness to travel 8–12 weeks annually.
