Senior Grid Testing Engineer

• Lead and support generator compliance testing and commissioning activities for renewable and conventional power plants.
• Conduct and oversee remote testing sessions, directing on-site technicians and plant operators during testing procedures.
• Monitor and analyze live test data to verify plant performance and identify potential issues.
• Support compliance testing for NERC standards including MOD-025, MOD-026, and MOD-027.

This role ensures that renewable and conventional generation facilities comply with grid reliability standards, directly supporting the stability and resilience of the electrical grid and enabling the integration of clean energy sources.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus in power systems.
• Experience supporting power plant testing, commissioning, or generator compliance activities.
• Familiarity with ERCOT and/or NERC compliance testing requirements.
• Experience with MOD-025, MOD-026, and MOD-027 testing standards.
