Mission
What you will drive
- Lead WRA's government affairs work in Nevada, developing and implementing public policy advocacy efforts with legislative and administrative decision makers.
- Partner with program leaders and staff to prioritize and plan activities and campaigns to advance climate and conservation policies.
- Serve as senior liaison with elected leaders and decision-makers, manage coalitions, and oversee contract lobbyists.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- At least seven years of experience in government affairs for an elected official, government agency, private entity, or nonprofit advocacy organization.
- Minimum four years of proven experience leading and executing strategic government affairs, external affairs, communications, or advocacy campaigns.
- Extensive understanding of relevant state politics and policy makers, especially related to conservation and climate change policies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

Salary range: $90,950 – $107,000 annually.
