Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead the design, management, and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, results, and learning (MREL) systems across WAN-IFRA Media Freedom programmes.
  • Oversee data systems and quality, lead research, and build internal capacity for the full M&E cycle.
  • Develop and implement results frameworks, annual reporting plans, baselines, mid-term and final evaluations.
  • Translate M&E findings into actionable recommendations for programme improvement.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Significant experience in a senior MREL, research, or programme learning role within an international NGO, media development, or gender equality context.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and operationalizing M&E frameworks across multi-country programmes.
  • Strong track record in qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, and reporting for donor-funded programmes.
  • Proficiency in data management systems and survey tools (e.g., Airtable, SurveyMonkey, Google Forms); excellent written and verbal communication in English; additional languages (French, Arabic) an advantage.
