Mission

What you will drive

  • Advise and represent clients in healthcare-related cases, including Medicaid, Medicare, and Health Insurance Marketplace, focusing on eligibility denials/terminations and service reductions.
  • Conduct factual investigations, legal research, and draft legal documents such as letters, memoranda, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings before state agencies and manage case files in Legal Server.
  • Develop self-help tools like Advocatesโ€™ Guides and fact sheets, and participate in outreach and professional development.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Full-time Florida resident and JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Current or anticipated membership in the Florida Bar within five months of employment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, research skills with Westlaw proficiency, and strong organizational skills.
  • Cultural competency and sensitivity when working with diverse populations.
