Mission

What you will drive

  • Evaluate utility distribution systems and grid planning processes to identify opportunities for distributed energy deployment.
  • Work directly with utility engineering, planning, and operations teams to assess grid needs and integration requirements.
  • Support the technical design and deployment of distributed energy resources, including battery energy storage systems (BESS), EV charging infrastructure, and other emerging technologies.
  • Develop communications, controls, and operational technology (OT) integration strategies for grid-connected assets.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, utility engineering, distribution planning, or distributed energy systems.
  • Experience working with electric utilities, energy developers, engineering consulting firms, grid operators, or related organizations.
  • Familiarity with distributed energy technologies such as battery storage, solar, EV charging, microgrids, or grid modernization technologies.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
