Senior Director of Federal Relations

• Lead ANCOR's legislative advocacy and drive the association's policy priorities.
• Serve as principal Medicaid and disability policy resource for Congress and federal policymakers.
• Build and maintain relationships with coalition partners to advance public policy priorities.
• Supervise the Federal Relations Manager and manage ANCOR's political action committee.

This role directly shapes federal policy to enhance long-term services and supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring they can live fully included and empowered in their communities.

• Bachelor's degree plus at least 10 years of experience in government relations, federal lobbying, and public policy analysis.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal legislative, regulatory, and budgetary processes.
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Commitment to improving the lives of marginalized people, including people with disabilities.

Full-time, exempt position. Based in Washington, DC with frequent meetings in Old Town Alexandria, VA. Some travel required. Compensation details not specified.
