Senior Director of Development & Strategy

• Build and implement IGNITE's pipeline-based fundraising strategy to support a $2M+ annual revenue goal.
• Serve as primary major gifts officer, managing a portfolio of 100-150 major donors and closing gifts at the $25,000+ level.
• Lead, coach, and develop a development team of 2 staff and contractors, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Oversee community and digital fundraising, including events, campaigns, and alumni engagement to grow donor pipeline.

This role ensures young women and gender-expansive youth gain the political leadership skills and opportunities needed to advocate for policy change, run for office, and mobilize their communities, directly addressing threats to their safety and voice.

• 7+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience with a track record of closing major gifts at the $25,000+ level.
• Experience personally managing a major gift portfolio and moving donors through a cultivation cycle.
• Experience leading fundraising strategy and/or managing development teams.
• Strong relationship-building and donor cultivation skills; familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).

Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 annually. Full-time, exempt position. Remote role with occasional travel (20-25%). IGNITE is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
