Senior Design Engineer [Remote]

• Prepare engineering deliverables including plan and elevation drawings, schematics, calculations, POs, and schedules for PV energy generation system design (500 kW to 20 MW scale).
• Conduct site assessments, prepare energy models and conceptual design deliverables to support business development and new product/vendor integration.
• Create, organize, and maintain project basis of design documents throughout the project life cycle; assist business development in identifying key design risks.
• Implement strategies for integration of new tools, products, vendors, code changes, and best practices.

This role directly contributes to the design and deployment of renewable energy systems, accelerating the transition to a sustainable energy future and reducing carbon emissions.

• Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Ten years’ relevant design experience, particularly in mechanical or electrical systems for construction; commercial PV design preferred.
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certificate; Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred; NABCEP certified.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code, project management, and AutoCAD.
