Senior Data Scientist & Modeler

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to power business applications, analytics, and AI capabilities.
• Develop ontologies, knowledge graphs, and symbolic models to organize data into knowledge structures.
• Build and operationalize data solutions including transformations, cleansing, and quality improvements.
• Collaborate with data engineers, AI engineers, and DBAs to implement models across databases, warehouses, and data lakes.

This role enables Iberdrola to leverage data and AI for optimizing renewable energy operations and grid management, contributing to the global transition to clean energy and reducing carbon emissions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field with 5+ years of experience in data modeling or database design.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools (Erwin/ER/Studio), SQL, and semantic technologies (RDF, OWL, SPARQL).
• Experience with relational, dimensional, and analytical modeling; ETL; and modern data platforms (RDBMS, NoSQL).
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
