Senior Data Engineer - Flexibility (all genders)

• Build and optimize data products that intelligently connect and orchestrate millions of decentralized energy resources worldwide.
• Design and implement scalable clustering and forecasting workflows based on asset measurements and complex time-series data.
• Deliver precise evaluations and predictions for high-stakes decision-making and trading on the wholesale energy market.
• Solve scalability challenges to ensure millions of individual assets work together in perfect concert.

This role accelerates the global transition to a fully renewable energy system by enabling intelligent management of decentralized energy resources and optimizing energy trading.

• Hands-on experience delivering robust data solutions into production.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with time-series data.
• Proficiency in Python, Polars, Pandas, or equivalent data wrangling frameworks; Go is the main language at gridX.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Metaflow, Argo, MLflow).
