Senior Attorney

• Advocate for the conservation of endangered species using administrative and legal tools such as the Endangered Species Act, National Environmental Policy Act, and Administrative Procedures Act.
• Identify and litigate cases to protect endangered species from habitat destruction, pollution, exploitation, and other threats.
• Mentor new program attorneys and build relationships with partner organizations, coalitions, and government officials.

This role directly protects endangered species from extinction by leveraging legal advocacy and litigation, ensuring the preservation of biodiversity for future generations.

• Law school graduate admitted to a relevant state bar.
• At least eight years of experience as an environmental attorney, including litigation under the Endangered Species Act.
• Excellent writing, communication, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to develop complex cases and manage a full docket.
