Senior Attorney

• Expand the Center's work to protect endangered species through litigation and advocacy.
• Identify and litigate cases under the Endangered Species Act, National Environmental Policy Act, and other laws.
• Mentor new program attorneys and build relationships with partner organizations.

This role directly protects endangered species from extinction by using legal tools to combat habitat destruction, pollution, and other threats, contributing to biodiversity conservation.

• Law school graduate admitted to a relevant state bar.
• At least eight years of experience as an environmental attorney.
• Experience litigating under the Endangered Species Act.
• Excellent writing, communication, research, and oral advocacy skills.

Salary range: $89,500 - $131,500. Benefits include fully paid medical, dental, and vision premiums for staff, generous HSA/HRA contributions, 403(b) with employer match, 15+ vacation days, 13 paid holidays, 5 personal days, paid sick leave, parental leave, and a 12-week paid sabbatical after 5 years.
