Mission

What you will drive

  • Conduct applied research and quantitative analysis on clean energy topics such as clean firm power, demand flexibility, industrial electrification, and utility planning.
  • Collect, evaluate, and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data from utilities, public sources, and partners to generate actionable insights.
  • Communicate complex findings through clear writing, visualizations, and presentations tailored to diverse audiences including utilities, policymakers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Support member engagement and external representation through working groups, speaking engagements, and collaborative initiatives.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Two to four years of experience in applied research or analysis in energy or related fields (engineering, economics, statistics, environmental science, etc.).
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering, economics, public policy, physical or environmental science, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience with R or Python, spreadsheets, charts, and dashboards.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and manage multiple assignments with high accuracy.
